& hardy. Flowers are deep purple, sky
blue, white or white with splashes of blue.
Due to its dense growth it is ideal for hedging
and for topiary too. It can be maintained
as a shrub, or can be trained on an arch or
on a trellis. Flowering is very profuse. Thunbergia
hybrisa - a compact variety of this genus
